For individuals or couples - we create a soothing soundscape using a variety of therapeutic sound healing instruments including the crystal harp, the crystal pyramid and the enchanting Koshi chimes to induce a deeply relaxed, meditative state.

The session begins with a few minutes of guided deep breathing and meditation followed by thoughtfully orchestrated sounds that immerse your senses in their healing vibration. The resonance of the instruments is holistic and not just an auditory experience that penetrates through to the cellular level and can feel like receiving a sound massage. Most people experience deep states of relaxation and altered states of consciousness.

What is Sound Healing?

Sound healing is a form of vibrational medicine that employs various instruments that resonate such as a crystal lyre/harp, singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks, gongs, Tibetan bowls. Various instruments produce a vibrational sound field which resonates to the body and our central nervous. Sound healing affects brainwaves to slow down to a profoundly relaxing and restorative state which has been proven to help with anxiety, depression, and physical pain.

Rosemary was introduced to sound healing by incredible teachers including – Fabien Mamam and Philippe & Lea Garnier. She has trained with several others sound healers including Dr. John Beaulieu. Rosemary has found the power of sound the crystal harp, bowls, tuning forks, drums and sacred chimes to be so deeply helpful in assisting people to heal. At one of her Sage Academy of Sound experiences she also had the honor of meeting and experiencing the work of Don Tito LaRosa a descendant of Quechua Indians of the Peruvian Andes and Richard Rudis, Gong Master, Sacred Sound Healing Pioneer, Author, founder of Sacred Sound Workshops.

Scientific Research on Sound Healing

Recently the National Insitute of Health has conducted studies regarding Sound Healing and music therapy. NIH Research on Sound Healing. The Crystal Harp/Lyre that we use at Rose Healing Center

The crystal harp/lyre aka “Quartzophone” was developed by Gaudry Normand and is the result of more than 12 years of research and development. The handcrafted crystal instrument consists of pure quartz crystal tubes (99.98% SiO2), which are mounted on a transparent acrylic base in such a way that the crystal tubes receive an optimal vibrating space. Quartz is a noble, natural material that has a very high vibration, therefore the crystal harp produces powerful, carrying tones that sound multidirectional and multi-dimensional. Silicon dioxide, which is piezoelectric by nature, emits tangible energy that touches us in our innermost being, relaxing us and at the same time energizing us.

I also use Koshi Chimes in my healing.The Koshi chime is an authentic musical instrument which is handmade near the Pyrenean mountains. Each chime is the result of meticulous craftsmanship.  Eight chords are welded with silver into the metal plate at the base of the resonance tube. Precise tuning creates a play of clear tones that is rich in overtones.
