September 2017 Rose Healing News and Oil/Card of the Month

Dreams, Intuition and the Inner life.

September gets its name from the Latin word septum meaning seven because it was originally the 7th month in the old calendar system.  While the early portion of the month continues to have a summery feeling, we already can sense (at least here in the Northeast) an early Fall coming.  As we give up the last energy of summer and move towards the return the school, harvest celebrations and really move into the autumn energy, take time to check in on where you are at.  What were the gifts of summer this year? What did you wish you had done?  Or what do you wish you had done more of?  Now is the time to write in your calendar for next spring some reminders.

September is a pivotal month during which the outward-directed energy of summer begins to shift inward in preparation for the 6 months to be spent in the darkness of Mother Earth’s womb. This is a month to open our eyes to synchronicities, dreams and our intuition.  It is a time for listening for our inner spiritual guidance.

To that end, I am offering another Sound Healing Meditation Circle with Crystal Singing Bowls on Sunday September 10th from 10 AM to 11:30 AM.  Advance sign up required as we are limited in our number of participants. $20.  Contact me ASAP if you are interested.  Of course, I am also available for individual healings which include a customized blend of Reflexology, Craniosacral and Sound Healing.

As we come out of the major celestial energies of Mercury Retrograde and the Eclipse, September offers us a month filled with possibility for that which we want to manifest in our lives. It is a highly creative time for new ideas.  We are still integrating new energies and new alignments from August. The best thing you can do is to honor anything NEW. A good practice is to do or experience something new every day consciously. Whether it is a change in your routine or a new food or a new route to work. Be brave. Choose something new every day as a way to acknowledge change.

Our Oil of the Month is  Cedarwood

Cedarwood Essential Oil has an earthy aroma that is soothing and grounding. It is a well documented oil that is mentioned over 40 times in the Bible. It can help stimulate the limbic system of the brain which assists in elevatingour mood and helps us relax (overcome stress). This explains why Cedarwood can give you a feeling of being connected, comforted, grounded and focused. It calms the spirit, eases nervous tension and stress. The oil gets is name from “Cedrus” which is an Arabic word meaning “power”

Cedarwood Essential Oil Energetic Impacts:

On an energetic level Cedarwood oil helps you embrace the feeling of being totally safe and secure with yourself as well as in your environment. As fears are released, the heart is open to spiritual love and protection which also brings self acceptance and love. It is excellent oil for the heart chakra.

Our  “Oracle Card of the Month”

I asked for guidance for all the friends and fans of Rose Healing Center for the month of September and was guided to Doreen Virtue’s Archangel Raphael cards.  The card we received is:

Ask Your Body for a Message

AskBodyforMessageRaphaelSept2017.jpg

Today you are being asked to tune into and access your inner body wisdom. Instead of taking cues from outside sources, Archangel Raphael asks you to seek and follow guidance from your own body, which holds within it all that you need to know. Throughout your day, check in with your body to see how it feels, and notice what it needs and what it is asking you for.

Here are a few methods you might consider:

During meditation, scan your body from the bottoms of your feet to the top of the head, noting where there is tension or discomfort. Breathe into those areas. Ask your body what it would like you to know and allow time to listen for the response.

Taking an Epson salt bath is a wonderful way to quiet the mind which makes your body wisdom more accessible. While you are in the bath ask yourself, “Body, what would you have me know,” or “Where do I need to devote attention to you,” and be open to notice the response that you get.

Yoga is another great way to connect into your body wisdom to access the things that your body would like you to know. You can communicate with your body throughout the duration of your practice, ask your body what it wants you to know during your Shavasana, or check in with your body after your practice is complete.

Your body speaks to you through thoughts, emotions, feelings, aches/pains, tingles and sensations like warmth, heat, or coolness. Your body always knows exactly what it needs and is counting on you to come through for it when it asks for something. Your body may be telling you something simple such as a need to drink more water, or a request to be fueled with more nutritious foods. Or you may find your body has more profound guidance for you. Whatever the case, you can always call upon Archangel Raphael to help you better connect into the needs of your body, or to better understand the guidance you receive. Archangel Raphael is a powerful healer who will lovingly guide you towards healing your body and improving your health.
